Wekiwue Travel Refund Policy

At Wekiwue Travel, we aim to provide exceptional travel experiences while maintaining fair and transparent business practices. We understand that travel plans can change, and we've designed our refund policy to be as accommodating as possible while maintaining the sustainability of our business operations.

Booking Deposit

To confirm your reservation for any of our tours or travel packages, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit secures your place on the tour and allows us to make necessary arrangements for your trip.

Cancellation & Refund Schedule

If you need to cancel your travel arrangements, the following refund schedule will apply:

60+ days Full refund (minus deposit)
45-59 days 75% refund (minus deposit)
30-44 days 50% refund (minus deposit)
15-29 days 25% refund (minus deposit)
0-14 days No refund

Cancellation Process

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected] or through our contact form. The date of the email receipt will be considered the official cancellation date.

Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemic restrictions, or other emergencies) that necessitate the cancellation of your tour, we offer the following options:

  • Reschedule your tour for a later date (within 24 months) at no additional cost
  • Credit for the full amount paid to be used for any other Wekiwue Travel service within 24 months
  • A refund of 85% of the total amount paid

Trip Modifications

If you need to modify your travel dates or itinerary, rather than cancel completely, the following applies:

  • Changes made 45+ days before departure: No fee for the first change, subsequent changes incur a €50 administration fee per change
  • Changes made 30-44 days before departure: €100 administration fee
  • Changes made 15-29 days before departure: €150 administration fee
  • Changes made 0-14 days before departure: €200 administration fee

Please note that any price differences between your original booking and the modified booking will apply and must be paid before the tour commencement.

Unused Services

No refunds will be provided for any unused services, accommodations, or activities included in your tour package once the tour has commenced. This includes services not utilized due to personal choice, illness, or early departure.

Refund Processing

All approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking unless otherwise agreed upon.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage immediately after booking your tour. Travel insurance can provide financial protection against unforeseen circumstances that might cause you to cancel your trip.
